Magento 2 Evolution

Technologies have coming from many centuries with enhancements for the ease of use.

Magento 2 was struggling to be on the top position. From the start it was marketed that it is very slow E-commerce application.

There are many advanced methods added to customise the whole application.

Though it was not enough to assure businesses that it is customised to any limit. Speed is also the major metric to market.

Many giants came up with their frontend applications to speed up Magento 2 using other technologies like Vue JS, ReactJS, etc.

Using the in-built Application Programming Interface (API) i.e. REST API and GraphQL.

Their application are faster than the front-end provided by Magento 2.

It seems Magento 2 will continue to evolve to the next level.

Introduction

A total experience of 15 years in various programming languages and 6+ years of Magento.

My life turning point was coding in Magento 2 system application. It is mostly on Ubuntu and VS Code that it runs on Desktop/Laptop.

I found PHP and Magento are the perfect couple. Magento is a flexible application from the start i.e., Magento 1 to Magento 2.

Thinking Differently

I started my career with Magento 1 way back in 2016, and it is pretty hard to manage the code of a module or a theme because of file structured. But it is flexible to code.

I learned JavaScript debugging and it eases the development. Customizing with Modules and Themes. No core files overwriting.

Visual Studio Code is my favorite code editor, and it has all plugins for Magento 2 developers. I code every day in VS Code.

I learned many new things time to time, technical and non-technical, finding a perfect language + application framework to settle with.

Currently, full time working on Magento 2 and learning new things.

Here I will be sharing things that will ease the life of a developer. Most of them are not available on Google or pretty hard to find.
